Dear Ask the Cat:
There is this really cute girl who asked me out. Should I say yes or no? Can you help me? Supposedly she likes me too. In class, I look at her all the time but I get nervous when I talk to her or even if I say Hi. I say, "Your cute," then I run off. So as you can see, I am desperate for advice.
Sincerely,
Nothing to Say
Dear Nothing to Say:
I think that you need to go to the girl and just be her friend for right now. Then, when you get close and comfortable, tell her how you feel. If she reacts weirdly, say "Just kidding!" Then you'll know if she has the same feelings.
Dear Ask the Cat:
I have a problem. My problem is that I like this 16 year old boy. I found out that he likes me too but I am afraid to tell him. I don't know how he will react. I met him on July 7, 2008. When we talk, I feel like he is everything to me. What should I do? I love him.
Sincerely,
In Love with an Older Man
Dear In Love:
First, how old are you? If you're younger than 15, stick to someone your own age. Because just what is a 16 year old boy doing messing with someone that young? Is it because there's something seriously wrong with him that he can't get anyone his own age at his own school? Maybe they know something you don't! But if you're at least 15 and you like him, hey, go for it.
Dear Ask the Cat:
People in the hallway push me into the bathrooms. They also push me into others that may turn around and push me into the ground. They're really mean people and they also call me names that hurt my feelings. A lot of them copy my tests and if I get it wrong, they get mad. They also dump my backpack out. I wish they would just stop. I need some good advice.
Sincerely,
BULLY GIRL
Dear Bully Girl:
First of all, bullying shouldn't be tolerated by anyone. You should definitely tell an adult, like a teacher or the principal. Tell the bullies that they wouldn't like it if this happened to them so they should leave you alone! Let them know you're telling on them too. They need to stop or they will be suspended. Also, you can tell some of your friends to walk with you so they can see what's happening. That way they can tell teachers and principals too. If enough people just told bullies to quit, then maybe they would get the hint. EVERYBODY hates a bully!
